1. We celebrate the coming out story of our very own “Doctor” Renee Norris-Jones.
2. Paying tribute to Sheriff Dante Austin and addressing the stigma around suicide in the LGBTQ+ comnnunity. (Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States with approximately one death every 12 minutes. (CDC) Each episode of LGBT victimization, such as physical or verbal harassment or abuse, increases the likelihood of self-harming behavior by 2.5 times on average. (American Journal of Public Health))
