The Penn Relays are Coming The Penn Relays are Coming The Penn Relays are Coming Lori Lancaster, MHS aka the CPR Lady is here to talk #PennRelays. Lori has been wth the Penn Relays for 25 years. Philly's own Penn Relays (also Penn Relays Carnival) is the oldest and largest track and field competition in the United States, hosted annually since April 21, 1895 by the University of Pennsylvania at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.

Each year, this historic rite of spring draws crowds of up to 100,000 to the University of Pennsylvania Franklin Field. Here, spectators know they’ll see some of the world’s top track athletes compete — and often begin Olympic careers. ...and yes, with 100k extra people in the city of Brotherly Love, the #TrafficSucks!!!
